The Phantom Tea starts each October and continues throughout the year.  It is the Registry's most far-reaching fundraising event, and it is designed to let all current member parent families help in the work of raising funds for research into the anomalies of chromosome 18.  This event is a make-believe tea party to which the family and friends of your child or adult with a chromosome 18 change are invited.  While sipping a cup of tea, these friends are encouraged to make a donation in honor of your loved one.  Those donations help carry on the all-important research at the Chromosome 18 Clinical Research Center at the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio.
